Top pick: #4 (TALLER SISTER) (9-2) - Lightly-raced filly is cutting back in distance off a pair of good efforts at this level going two-turns. Home bred filly will need to come off the pace in this spot and can take this with a patient ride.
2nd pick: #1 (Afleet Alexa) (3-1) - Very lightly-raced daughter of "Afleet Alex" has been sharp in all three starts (3-1-1-1) and is cutting back in distance after running second last out in the same race as "Taller Sister." Filly was a 1/2 length better than that rival at the finish and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Gussied Up) (5-1) - Speedy filly had a very tough and wide trip on Aug. 25 and race is best viewed as a toss. She had gone 4-3-1-0 during her career prior to that and all of those starts have come here in sprints.
4th pick: #3 (Lil Miss Sassy) (8-1) - Longshot continues to race evenly and may grab a minor award at a nice price with just a small step forward.
