Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (SASUENO) (4-1) - He looked very sharp when going wire-to-wire here at this tag facing a slightly weaker group Sep 1. It was his best overall this year and this once classier type was capable in the past of stringing competitive starts together. Speedster breaks just off the rail and is the horse to beat.
nd pick: #10 (Ft Deposit) (6-1) - Speed/stalker rated, bid to the front, then weakened under pressure to finish third of 10, beaten just over 2-lengths racing here at this level and distance Aug 30. He draws outside of the other speed and should factor with his normal effort.
rd pick: #6 (Brat) (5-1) - He's another who was classier at one time. Stalker rallied into a quick pace to miss by a half-length racing here for a $7,500 claiming tag at the 4l condition Aug 24. Solid effort and trainer Wayne Rice has him properly spotted again this afternoon.
th pick: #3 (Tap Chap) (8-1) - Even-paced type was only 1 1/2 lengths behind 'Ft. Deposit' last out after pressing a quick pace. Veteran need only improve a bit to factor today at a square price.
th pick: #5 (Don't Rock Me) (12-1) - He ships in from Thistledown where he raced both evenly and wide in a dirt sprint at this distance Aug 31. It was his first since July 15 and he had a tough outside post (12th of 12). Capable of getting a minor award at a big price with a late rally.
