2nd pick: #6 (Designer Duds) (3-1) - Lightly-raced gelding has raced evenly in both career starts. He's moving up in class following a third place finish here facing weaker June 8. This is a weak field for the claiming price and think he can factor.
3rd pick: #7 (Confluence) (8-1) - The main speed, longshot has had legitimate excuses in all three career starts. He veered out in is debut, lost his rider in his second start, then panicked last out when he was struck with the whip. He has veteran jockey Mike Allen aboard and is a win candidate on the lead at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (The Love Monkey) (7-2) - The field's most experience maiden, he's moving back up in class following a third place finish facing weaker June 16. It was a solid effort and came in his second back from an almost 100 day break.
