Bet this race at Top pick: #5 (Kaylasauras) (4-1) - In her last three six-furlong races, Kaylasauras has finished first two times and second once. Trainer Tim Kreiser notes that this horse has gotten stronger in the last year. She won the Primonetta last month, flying down the center of the track to pass fellow stakes winners Street Lute, Princess Kokachin, and Prodigy Doll in a three-quarter-length victory despite being at the far outside post.
2nd pick: #4 (Joy's Rocket) (10-1) - Jockey Joel Rosario is atop a horse that has finished second in four of six races, and all but one were at six furlongs. Trained by Steven M. Asmussen, Joy's Rocket came on strong late to finish second to Miss Mosaic in January in the American Beauty Stakes at Oaklawn Park, finishing second by a neck after closing from sixth.
3rd pick: #1 (Street Lute) (10-1) - Going to seven furlongs was a bit too much for Street Lute the last time out, finishing third at the Safely Kept Stakes, as well as at the Maryland Million Distaff. That's three consecutive third-place finishes, all on dirt. In 16 races, Street Lute has eight first-place finishes, one second, and four thirds. At six furlongs, this horse should be in the running with an added bonus catching the No. 1 post position.
