Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (ALWAYS SHOPPING) (9-2) - Competitive in four straight, home bred daughter of 'Awesome Again' was a winner of the G2 Gazelle Stakes at this distance April 6 at Aqueduct. Repole runner has worked for times since and her stalking style fits the race. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Cookie Dough) (3-1) - Speedy filly has spent her entire career at Gulfstream Park and has gone 7-2-1-3. She won a pair of rich stakes for fellow Florida breds in September and has been sharp in both starts this year facing 'open' G2 company. Working very fast before shipping here, home bred has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #8 (Point of Honor) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, lightly raced daughter of 'Curlin' won her first pair before finishing third in the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) March 30 a contest where she was just under a length behind 'Cookie Dough'. An obvious contender.
4th pick: #7 (Brill) (4-1) - This daughter of 'Medaglia d'Oro' sold for $1,000,000 as a yearling in July of 2017. She enters off a good 3rd place finish in the G3 Fantasy Stakes April 12 at Oaklawn Park and must be left in the mix.
