Top pick: #3 (COUP) - Home-bred daughter of "Empire Maker" is one of three fillies entered by trainer Graham Motion and the trio race as separate betting interests. Lightly raced she has four straight bullet works at the Fair Hill training center as she prepares for her first start since late January. The horse to beat with a "clean" trip.
2nd pick: #10 (Anna Sophia) - Highly thought of by trainer Bill Mott, she's run well in both turf starts without winning. Last out at Keeneland she rallied to finish third going a mile and if she avoids a wide trip she's a major factor.
3rd pick: #9 (Appealing Cat) - Another of the Motion fillies, she ran a big race at Keeneland to miss by a 1/2 length going a mile three April 14th. Improving, in shape, and a win candidate.
4th pick: #2 (Seanchai) - Daughter of grass champ "English Channel" has run well in both starts and trainer Leigh Delacour will remove the blinkers for the first time. Filly has some tactical speed and a nice post to use it from.
