Top pick: #1 (PROUDINSKY) - Talented turf runner raced on the deepest part of the track on "Derby Day" (the inside of the grass course) in the "Turf Classic" (G1). He made a strong inside move to reach the front turning for home, but was out-finished by horses racing well out in the track on the "good" course. Race was actually a strong effort under the circumstances and he can win this with a similar trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Parading) - Appears just now to be reaching his full potential. Nicely-bred runner from the Phipps/McGaughey connection likes this distance (2-1-1-0) and is coming into this fresh, making only his third start since May of '08. Tractable style is a plus and he continues to do good AM work. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Kiss the Kid) - Hard-hitter only has one poor effort on a slate dating back to December of '07. Always gives his all from just off the pace and he's won three of his last four (all graded stakes). Should run well.
