Top pick: #1 (ROYAL DELTA) - She impressed in a visually stunning maiden score in her debut last fall at Belmont, then was sent in for a 4 1/2 month break by trainer Bill Mott. She did not fire in her seasonal debut at Tampa on March 12, but was an easy winner at Keeneland April 15th in an entry-level allowance. Lightly raced, improving, has the rail, good early speed, and she's working fast for this. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Hot Summer) - Filly by "Malibu Moon" has run well in 4 of her 5 starts and last out won the Comely S.(G3) going a one-turn mile at Aqueduct. Effort was her best to date and she's been working fast since. Dominguez is aboard for the first time as this 3-year-old goes around two-turns in this spot.
3rd pick: #5 (Buster's Ready) - Has a good late kick and hails from the Pletcher barn. Capable, especially if there's a pace fight of some sort to rally into.
