(# 2) Gosh Almighty - One of two entered by Jayne Vaders in race. The other horse is No. 1 Heavenly Sahm. They are uncoupled due to different ownership. "Gosh" was claimed out of his first start by high percentage Vaders for $12,500 who moved runner into a "Maiden Special" where he showed much improved speed before tiring late. Dropped down to below claiming price in next effort that produced initial victory and rising numbers. Draws well for first route try and should be in the fight from the get-go.

(# 5) Brandemarti - Ran fine in first route attempt, though the fractions were very slow. Blinkers go on today for capable trainer in Phil Aristone and think he'll be competitive with this crew.

(# 8) Batir - Trainer Tim Kreiser and jockey Unsihuay came from Penn National for this colts first route try here at Philly Park which produced a maiden win. Pace was swift early on in that race and no doubt helped him out.
