(# 4) HOLD HARD - Comes off a good try at Delaware Park where track-loving veteran Smokie, gave nobody a chance, going wire-to-wire. This Scott Lake trained gelding ran very well to get second despite having traffic trouble around the far turn. That represented his highest figure since coming to the Lake barn and more improvement would be no surprise.

(# 3) Prince Slew - He proved at the Fair Grounds this past winter that he still can run. Has been a little dull in his return races off a three-month layoff, but they were both sprints and today trainer Beattie stretches him back out to his preferred distance. May run much better today.

(# 1) Liberal Media - Consistent performer at a notch below this in price. Comes into this off two sprints and draws the rail for the route attempt. He's a little light on his figures, but he may receive an advantageous trip.

(# 6) Behind on Points - Moves back up the claiming scale a bit and erratic type has dusted fields the last two times he dropped to $5K. Will have to stalk in this one as I don't think he can make the front.
