He showed speed and tired. Came back quickly to his favorite distance (two-turn racing) and colt was primed and ready, scoring an easy victory earning his top speed figure in the process. Returns quickly (11 days) and draws the rail. Whoever beats him will earn it!

(# 3) Alvan was Great - Runner comes back on short notice, having made initial run of 2007 on June 2. Had been working swiftly and steadily for the return and similar sprint-to-route move produced lone career win at Calder last July.

(# 5) Call You Raise You - His only attempt at two turns in eleven tries produced one of his best races ever - a nose defeat this past January right here. Has a good shot at a square price.

(# 4) Done THat - Cost almost $400,000, has earned $20,000. Has a long way to go. Nice maiden victory last out in second start for new trainer Paul Conrad. Giving away a lot of experience here and he may find himself in traffic at some point. Needs to work out a trip.
