Showed some talent from day one, and was tried in some stakes before heading to the bench in Oct. of last year. His second race this season he finished third, right behind a pretty hard-hitter in Here Comes Art, who would be the favorite in here. Think he's ready to offer his best today.

(# 4) Roi de Violette - Big win against lesser in latest at Colonial. Can fire a "freakish" race now and then, but has a hard time repeating it. Nevertheless, he fits well with these, and his record over this turf is (3-1-1-1).

(#'s 1, 2 7) Sunny Jim, Stormin West (Maker's On My Mind) - Would only use these three speed types in small exacta boxes with the top two. All three of these have some pace to bring to the contest.
