Top pick: #7 (VERDE) - Filly tired going a distance in the mud here on Dec. 27. She finished a very close-up second sprinting here in her race prior to that. The pick on the distance cut-back.
2nd pick: #10 (Dance Trip) - Daughter of the fine win-early sire "Trippi" tired after pressing the pace for $25K on Dec. 16. and wound up third. Drops in half and is nicely drawn in the gate. Big threat.
3rd pick: #4 (Cozzy Domicile) - It took several minutes to get this filly in the gate last out and that's never a good sign. She proceeded to track the pace and tire late in the mud against $25,000 maidens. Drops in half for this and is well-spotted.
