Top pick: #8 (PORT ROYAL) - Makes his second start for trainer Steve Klesaris after spending his entire career in the barn of Hall of Famer Allen Jerkens. Stalker has faced better his whole career and could get a fast/contested pace here to rally into.
2nd pick: #11 (Cassoulet) - Makes his third start back after being away almost a year. Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin has run him in a pair of longer races off the the layoff and he's shown good speed in both. Son of "Distorted Humor" has a pair of extremely fast works at Belmont in the past two weeks. Price play.
3rd pick: #12 (Mt. Glittermore) - Son of "Orientate" has raced well in all but one of his nine starts, and that was the only time he competed in something other than a sprint. His best races fit with this group and he draws a nice post for his style.
