Top pick: #5 (MYSTERY TUNE) - Very fast and lightly raced. Equally adept on turf or dirt and a track with some moisture in it (like yesterday here) would not pose a problem. The pick from a new barn in this area (the Fair Grounds leading trainer, Cody Autry). He won yesterday's ninth race with his first starter here.
2nd pick: #2 (Espindola) - Pennsylvania-bred stakes winner back in 2007 recently finished a pace-chasing second running for $15,000, her first race in 17 months. Not as quick as the top choice, she'll be relegated to another "chasing" trip if both fillies run.
3rd pick: #8 (Rockinanrollin) - She's coming off a win at Laurel for $25,000 going seven furlongs. In-shape, but these are much tougher and the cut-back to six panels may be a negative for her. Still, her connections are top rate, Mike Gill/Chris Grove.
