Top pick: #2 (COSTAS FIFTIETH) - He was an easy (11 1/2 length) wire-to-wire winner at Penn National at this distance Oct. 19 to get his maiden win. Effort was by far the best any of this field of Pennsylvania-breds has run and colt has come-back with a bullet work at Laurel on Nov. 1. Good Maryland-based barn (Dale Capuano) has him spotted to win.
2nd pick: #3 (Traffic Light) - He took some money in his debut and promptly went wire to wire to win here by almost 6 lengths Oct. 24. Son of "Peace Rules" did so at this trip from a tough outside post. Dangerous right back.
3rd pick: #5 (Fireunderthesheets) - Filly takes on colts today and that's always a "tall" task. She won a 5-furlong race on a sloppy track at Penn National when debuting in late Sept. and is working nicely for a top outfit (Mike Trombetta).
4th pick: #11 (Ill Conceived) - Lasix is added to this colt as he races off a two month layoff and he's home-bred is in with a good trainer (John Servis). Has some late punch, but his post is of no help.
