Top pick: #7 (MARYVILLE) - Filly raced evenly in an off the turf contest facing much tougher on Oct. 2 and her connections drop her into a claimer for the first time since late May. That effort produced an easy win here racing for $15K and she should be nearing her best as she runs 4th back off a layoff. The top pick.
2nd pick: #5 (L Gaska) - Very fast out of the gate, she won a starter allowance last out at this claiming level and trainer Ramon Presciado will drop her in for a tag again today. In career best form at present and her speed makes her dangerous.
3rd pick: #8 (Liza Too) - Races for only the fourth time since Feb. of 2009, and after coming back from a long layoff this former promising runner now races in claimers. In a great barn (Rick Dutrow) and filly finished second at Belmont at this level in her most recent start. Draws a good post and is a win candidate.
