Top pick: #2 (SEWANEE) (3-1) - Philly shipper moves up to face allowance foes after a sharp win there racing for a $25K tag Feb. 24. Beautifully-bred 4-year-old clearly prefers real dirt (6-2-1-1) over both turf and "poly" (7-0-0-0), is in a top barn (Tony Dutrow), and Philly regular Frankie Pennington is in for the mount.

2nd pick: #8 (Great Investment) (4-1) - Gelding loves the local dirt (8-3-1-2) and has won two in a row, the latest a state-bred allowance at this distance in his first off a John Conner claim. Strong finisher is a threat right back.

3rd pick: #1 (Smooth Service) (5-1) - Speedy sprinter is (4-2-1-0) this year after returning from a 16 1/2 month layoff on Jan. 18. State-bred ran a career best when winning here, going 6 furlongs March 27th and draws the coveted rail for his first try around two-turns.

4th pick: #3 (Kelly Rock) (6-1) - He had a throw-out start last out when he had a troubled break going 6 furlongs after having finished second in his previous race at this level going a mile.
