Top pick: #4 (AH HONEY HONEY) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she did not make her first start until she was a 4yo, but went 12-2-4-2 during her first year. Speed/stalker went 7-2-4-1 after coming here from Monmouth and is in career best shape at present. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Dreamingofauntliz) (6-1) - Price play has a strong stretch kick, but has hurt her own chances with slow breaks several times. Fits with her best, and mare should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
3rd pick: #5 (Like a Diva) (3-1) - No speed type has rallied to check in second in her last pair and was a "head" in front of "Ah Honey Honey" last out. In fine shape at present and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (M' Lady Penny) (6-1) - Filly sat a perfect trip from the rail and rallied to win here at this tag & trip on Nov. 29th. She cleared the 2l condition that afternoon and was beaten a nose last out going 7-furlongs. That race was run in very slow time, and she'll need to step it up some to contend for the win.
