Top pick: #4 (LOUISA GIRL) (6-1) - Price play moves up in class after a near miss here for a $10.5K on Nov. 29th. It was her first off a Mike Pino claim and a subsequent 80 day freshening. The "figure" earned was a career best, and this speed/stalking mare has a shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #6 (Great Drive) (5-1) - The probable favorite, she's gone 4-2-1-1 so far, and last out finished second here at this level and distance. Lightly raced home bred has a stalking style and room for upside. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Terri's Pass) (8-1) - Longshot is racing first off a Scott Lake claim and third back off a pair of layoffs. Stalker has been sub-par lately, but is capable of impacting with her best.
4th pick: #7 (Que Regalo) (5-1) - Very lightly raced filly she's been freshened up since breaking her maiden here in late Oct. Well bred and in a sharp barn (Marc Zulueta), she has talent but picks a tough spot for her first facing winners.
