Top pick: #2 (OUR MAN CLINT) (3-1) - Very consistent colt has gone 7-1-4-2 racing on conventional dirt and is 3-0-2-1 locally since coming here from the No. California circuit. Stalker races first off a Ramon Preciado claim (22%) and he gets a slight edge
2nd pick: #6 (Classic Review) (2-1) - Speedy and lightly-raced, he's one of two entered by trainer Juan Guerrero and the pair race uncoupled. Freshened up since Oct. 20 he's taking a big drop in class and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Polished Degree) (7-2) - The second of the Guerrero pair, he has early speed and is breaking from the rail. Fla. bred has been competitive in two of three here on the dirt after spending most of the year competing on the Presque Isle "poly." Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Golden Punch) (9-2) - He's racing third back off a seven week break and will be switching from turf to dirt and dropping in class. Grey gelding has been tiring on a regular basis all year facing tougher and should be competitive at this reduced level.
