Top pick: #3 (MAJOR IN TIME) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's finished second in three of his last four starts and did so here on Oct. 14th going 5.5-furlongs. Jersey bred has enough early speed to stay close and win this turning for home.
nd pick: #7 (Super Louie) (15-1) - Longshot is lightly raced and tired here at this tag going a mile on Oct. 18th. It was his first race in almost two years and veteran Ed Coletti brings him back quickly and replaces apprentice with Carmouche. 4yo by "Louis Quatorze" should show whatever talent he has in this spot.
rd pick: #2 (House of Pegasus) (6-1) - Lightly raced 3yo has early speed and is racing first off a Patty Farro claim (15%). He's shown fine early speed and draws the rail for this attempt. Bet in all three starts, he's a threat on the front end.
th pick: #6 (Portent) (8-1) - Blinkers go on and he drops back down to the price-tag of his best effort. Racing here at this tag going 5-furlongs Aug. 17th, he held to finish a distant second after contesting the pace. Gelding has been in with tougher in his last pair and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #8 (Aiken Prep) (6-1) - One paced type ships back from Laurel where he ran both wide & evenly in a grass sprint Oct. 25th. He's dropping to a new low, switching back to the dirt, and he can grab a share if the speed comes back turning for home.
