Top pick: #3 (LADY FOREST) (4-1) - She's been freshened up since late October when she finished a strong pace-pressing second when debuting here at this level. Trainer Kate DeMasi adds blinkers to this filly by "Jump Start" and she can take this with normal second out improvement.
nd pick: #4 (Lust for Diamonds) (6-1) - She almost blew up the tote board when she just missed here at odds of 70-1 on Nov. 16 in a $75K stakes. She's worked well since and a top barn (Mike Pino) has her back in with maidens.
rd pick: #1 (Naughty Nancy) (5-1) - One of five fillies making their debuts and she has some sharp works showing at Penn National. Daughter of "Afleet Alex" has the rail, some fine gate breezes, and veteran jockey Dana Whitney comes in for the mount.
th pick: #9 (Pinkout) (20-1) - Longshot is one of two fillies entered by trainer Kevin Sleeter and the pair race uncoupled. Don't believe she's a win candidate, but she's been racing evenly and could grab a share at a big price.
th pick: #10 (Love Came to Town) (8-1) - The second of the Sleeter pair, filly broke sharply in her debut and after setting a quick pace she tired to finish a distant second. This field is tougher but she can't be totally eliminated.
