Top pick: #7 (LADY FOREST) (3-1) - Daughter of "Jump Start" just missed in her debut here in late October. Filly was involved every step and missed by just under a length. Training well for her return, trainer Kate DeMasi adds blinkers for this attempt. $25K yearling purchase was scratched recently to await this spot.
2nd pick: #1 (E Bay Girl) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Bob Reid Jr. and the pair race uncoupled. This home bred by "E Dubai" has the rail and some sharp works on view. Reid wins at a 19% rate first out and this filly looks set to be competitive.
3rd pick: #5 (Have a Taste) (5-1) - She's moving up in class after finishing second here for a $25K tag on Dec. 15. She retains Carmouche and runs with blinkers on for the first time.
4th pick: #3 (Pinkout) (9-2) - Even-paced type has the most experience and fits on a figure angle. Capable of impacting with her best.
