Top pick: #3 (PLAYA MEDINA) (5-1) - Price play showed good early speed before tiring when debuting here on a very sloppy surface July 15th. Daughter of "Songandaprayer" has since come back with a bullet half-mile breeze a week ago and she has a shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #2 (Kiss Me Forever) (5-2) - The probable favorite she's been freshened up since a pair of narrow defeats this past winter. Filly by "Broken Vow" runs off a 4 1/2 month layoff and has been working steadily at Monmouth Park for her return. Obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Biscotti Girl) (6-1) - Another price play, she ships back from Monmouth where she was never involved following a slow start at this level and distance June 29. Stalker draws a nice outside post and has finished second in three of five starts at Philly park.
4th pick: #4 (Newly Fashioned) (9-2) - Since coming here from Gulfstream Park in late Spring, she's gone 3-0-1-2 on this strip. Speed/stalker is improving a bit and last out earned a career best figure when she finished second at this level and trip on July 15th. Must be left in the mix, but the other three selections are more likely to win this.
