Premium Pick

Top pick: #10 (PITCHED) (4-1) - Lightly raced and well bred, filly ships back from Belmont where she finished a solid third there eight days ago at this tag going 8.5-furlongs. Daughter of "Elusive Quality" broke her maiden here at this trip in her previous start and was racing off a almost a three month break that afternoon. She has a nice outside post, a flexible style, and I like her chances.

2nd pick: #3 (Not a Love Song) (12-1) - Speedy and well bred, she tired badly racing here going two-turns on the grass for a $25k tag Sept. 27th. Daughter of "Langfuhr" fought her rider that day, and her connections drop her down in price and move her from turf to dirt. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #7 (Found) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she makes her Philly debut after going 7-1-2-2 sprinting on the dirt at Delaware & Pimlico. Stalker is in good form, and she should enjoy this 7-furlong distance.

4th pick: #8 (Leather Pants) (15-1) - Daughter of "Corinthian" is another going turf to dirt, dropping in class, and shortening up in distance. Stalker is in a winning barn (Bob Reid, Jr.), and has gone 4-1-1-1 racing here on the dirt in the past.

5th pick: #2 (Main Entrance) (8-1) - Experienced type has finished third in two straight at Monmouth, and Jersey bred has been competitive here in the past. Daughter of "Congrats" should get a quick pace to rally into and is a stretch threat with her best.
