2nd pick: #2 (Have a Taste) (3-1) - Jersey bred ran well at Monmouth when debuting against fellow state-bred Special Weights on Sept. 6. She tired in her next start facing stakes fillies and is dropping down and breaking from the rail. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Paperback Writer) (9-2) - Both blinkers and Lasix are added by trainer Patty Farro after this filly tired here when debuting at this tag on Sept. 22. Barn doesn't deal with many maidens but this Fla.-bred can factor with the changes.
4th pick: #6 (Lady From Cheyenne) (5-1) - Grey filly has taken a bit of money in both starts and will be racing with blinkers on for this attempt. She showed some speed in her Delaware debut facing tougher, then was bumped off stride in her Philly debut.
