2nd pick: #6 (Sciacca) (6-1) - Since joining the barn of Marc Zulueta in early June, this gelding has gone 8-2-3-2. Stalker is moving way up in class, but his style fits the race, and all the speed is to his left in the gate. Contender at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Punster) (3-1) - Speedy sort tired after racing close up while wide facing tougher on the grass here on Sept. 30th. It was his first start since early August of 2013, and this veteran will be dropping in class and going turf to dirt. Gelding by "Distorted Humor" has a solid record on the dirt (20-3-9-2), and all of those came facing better. Win threat with his best.
4th pick: #2 (Namron) (6-1) - Gelding was a winner here Sept. 13th racing for a $12.5K tag, then tired badly last out after setting a pressured pace at this level. Capable with his best, and he looks to be the speed of the speed.
