Top pick: #2 (NASTY CAT) (5-2) - Speed/stalker was a winner here at this tag and trip Aug. 16 as Florida bred cleared the 31 condition. Filly came back with a third place finish in her first at this 41 level and she's moving from an outside post to the rail. Four-year-old is in a winning barn (Rich Vega), has back class, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1a (Blonde On Blonde) (9-2) - She's part of an entry with #1 "Flannery" and both were still running at press time. One-run type ships back from Penn National where she rallied to finish 3rd on Oct. 9. It was a career best from a figure standpoint and she's in a very sharp outfit (Scott Lake).
3rd pick: #4 (I'm a Pal) (6-1) - Speedy filly has gone 7-3-1-3 here since returning from almost an eight month layoff on May 17th. Pa. bred has won two in a row and will be tough if allowed to get an uncontested early lead.
4th pick: #3 (Golden Bucket) (5-1) - Mare ships in from Delaware Park where she was a gate-to-wire winner on Oct. 11 when racing for a $10K tag. Barn brings her back in 11 days and drops her slightly in price. 5-year-old has won here in the past and must be left in the mix.
