Top pick: #5 (IRISH JONES) (9-2) - Gelding has run well in both sprints, is moving up in class, and stretching out in distance. Good barn (John Servis) adds blinkers (20%), and home bred by "Smarty Jones" gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Snipers Hide) (3-1) - Well bred colt raced evenly here when debuting in a sprint at this level on Sept. 30th. Son of "City Zip" has a new trainer (Jim Ryerson), and he'll stretch this runner out in distance and replaces apprentice with veteran Kendrick Carmouche.
3rd pick: #3 (Pickaway) (4-1) - He's raced evenly in all three sprints, and last out finished fourth here on Oct. 18th. He was 4 1/2 back of "Irish Jones" that day and had a "troubled" break. Another that's stretching out, and believe he's a factor in this spot.
4th pick: #2 (Blitzensmajikreign) (12-1) - Longshot showed nothing when debuting here in a two-turn contest at this level Oct. 14th. However, he had a tough outside post (10th of 11) and he had significant problems at the start. Colt is in a very good barn (Marc Zulueta), and you'll get him at a square price.
