Top pick: #2 (STREET INVADER) (2-1) - Gelding is taking a big drop in class and is the main speed. He tired badly last out after chasing the pace from an outside post. He breaks just off the rail and will be tough to beat on the front end.
2nd pick: #6 (Water Tower) (6-1) - He's racing back into shape and is stretching out in distance. Gelding is running third back off a pair of layoffs and showed an improved effort in his latest going 7-furlongs. He's won at this distance in the past and is dangerous at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Loveshackled) (5-1) - His lack of speed and outside post make his chances tough but not impossible. He's been competitive in two of four but races is skipping a condition for this attempt. Can factor but must avoid a wide trip.
4th pick: #4 (The Iron Furnace) (4-1) - Finger Lakes invader closed out the season there in good form. Speed/stalker has been freshened up since Dec. 5. Fits with these if he brings his form with him.
