Top pick: #4 (SUNSHINE KEN) (2-1) - Lightly-raced stalker did not break sharply in his latest and could only manage a wide and even effort. He had finished second in his two previous local starts and he runs today first off a Mike Pino claim (a 30% winning angle). The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Gris Hombre) (3-1) - Grey gelding tired here facing $25K foes on Oct. 25. It was his first off a 70-day freshening and is dropping to a new low in price for this attempt. Speedy sort is a win threat in this spot.
3rd pick: #5 (Designer Shiner) (5-1) - Penn National shipper has shown a bit of talent in both starts. With a bit of improvement this Pa. bred could be dangerous against this group.
4th pick: #7 (Echo Libra) (10-1) - Gelding rallied to finish third here when facing weaker on Nov. 10 in his first off almost a three month layoff. He's capable of getting a small share of this but need to improve for anything more than that.
