Top pick: #6 (NORTHEAST PRINCESS) (7-2) - Home-bred has been sharp in two straight and last out finished third when facing tougher on the Atlantic City turf. She had run second here at this level on the dirt in her previous start and draws a nice outside post at this 6.5-furlong trip.
2nd pick: #2 (Sunshine Sandra) (5-2) - Filly is one of two entered by trainer Phil Aristone and the pair race uncoupled. Pa.-bred raced evenly last out facing a bit better and checked-in a distant third in her first start in 6-months. Four-year-old daughter of "Real Quiet" has the rail and Aristone's go-to rider (Castillo) is aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Riverness) (9-2) - The second of the Aristone fillies, she rallied to finish a distant second on a muddy surface going 6-furlongs on March 31st. However, she ran very poorly in her latest facing much tougher going a mile. Drops, shortens up, and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #4 (Fiddlers Zappie) (5-1) - Well-bred filly enters off a career best when she chased a "much the best" winner and held down the place spot at this tag on May 6th. It was her third back from a 10 1/2 month layoff and she could factor if it's repeatable.
