Top pick: #8 (DANGEROUS MAIZE) - Consistent (12-2-4-3) filly enters off a pace-setting second-place finish here at this level and distance Aug. 27. Effort was a career best overall and this 3-year-old doesn't need the lead to run well. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #4 (Racing Wildly) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she's lightly raced and has sharp early speed. In a winning barn (Ramon Preciado) and he drops her down from $25,000 to race for a $7500 tag. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #3 (My Wild Irish Rose) (8-1) - Barn (Mario Serey Jr.) is on a good roll the past two months and this speed/stalker finished second here at this level going two-turns on Sept. 8. Mare is brought back in nine days and shortens up in distance.

4th pick: #2 (Our Pink Ribbon) (12-1) - One-paced type ran third last out but was almost seven back of "Maize" at the finish. A nice inside post and a trouble-free trip could land her another slice.
