Top pick: #3 (NAUGHTY MATILDA) (5-2) - Lightly raced and quick from the gate, she's gotten the lead facing much tougher than this in the past. Daughter of "Indian Charlie" ships down from New York, takes a big drop in class, and has blinkers added. The speed nearest the rail and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Giant Lady) (7-2) - No speed type rallied while very wide to finish fourth racing here at this tag on Aug. 10. She's one of the few entered who has the ability to pass other horses, and she should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
3rd pick: #5 (Gipsy Kaz) (3-1) - Bred/owned/trained by Pete Kazamias, lightly raced filly showed early speed last out at Penn National before tiring against tougher. Barn drops her way down, adds blinkers, and it's a strong trainer/jockey combo (16 of 24, 24%) over the past 20 months.
4th pick: #6 (Northeast Princess) (10-1) - One paced type has rallied to pick up minor awards several times and believe that's her ceiling in this spot. May do so at a square price.
