Top pick: #2 (ROVIN MAN) (9-2) - He's been a maiden a very long time (20-0-5-2), but he moves from an outside post to the rail after a very wide trip last out when beaten 3 1/2 lengths at this tag. Speed/stalker has a solid shot at a square price.
nd pick: #11 (Brother Leo) (9-5) - The probable favorite, he's gone 3-0-1-2 here since the middle of Sept., and comes off a pace-setting second place finish on Nov. 2nd. Speedy sort is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #10 (Hazlenut Express) (10-1) - Longshot tired badly facing much tougher here going seven furlongs on Oct. 20th. Race was his first ever on the dirt, and he'll be taking a big drop and cutting back a furlong.
th pick: #7 (Troubador Tango) (12-1) - Well-bred colt has regressed badly in his last pair, but does have races in his past that put him in this at a big price. Son of "Lion Heart" is in a winning barn (Ramon Preciado), and must be left under consideration.
th pick: #2 (Bobrvsky) (5-1) - He takes a big drop in price, goes turf to dirt, and cuts back in distance. He's been competitive on the dirt in the past and is dangerous with his best.
