Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (BRONZE BULL) (5-2) - Gelding raced evenly when finishing 4th of eight, beaten four lengths in his well backed debut here Oct. 5th. He's worked twice since, and trainer Cathal Lynch is dropping him down in class. Jersey bred is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Blue Martini) (8-1) - Son of 'Bluegrass Cat' is one of three making their debuts. Working steadily, and he's in the barn of leading trainer Ramon Preciado. This home bred had a pair of bullet drills here in early October and has stamina building works since. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Clearlyagoodstart) (5-1) - The field's most experienced maiden, he's been freshened up since late September. Colt has 'nibbled' a few times and should factor today off the seven-week break.
4th pick: #1 (Kowboy Duel) (7-2) - Well bet in his debut at Delaware Oct. 12th, grey colt chased and tired late to check in 3rd of seven, beaten 3 1/2 lengths. In a capable small barn (Tom Clark), and he gives this son of 'Kodiak Kowboy' a rider upgrade.
