Top pick: #9 (FROZEN FOUR) (4-1) - Santulli home-bred by "Pulpit" has been a disappointment with his breeding and last out was dropped down to this $10K tag for the first time. He set a pressured pace and held gamely when challenged to lose by a head. He draws a nice outside post and can take this from on, or just off the pace.
2nd pick: #5 (Shamadaan) (9-2) - From the world class Shadwell Farms, debuting colt by their "Breeders' Cup Classic" (G1) winner "Invasor" is working well for trainer Mike Pino (32% first out). Very dangerous against this group if he has any ability.
3rd pick: #4 (Realist) (5-2) - Well-bred colt showed some early speed here in March in a pair of starts when facing special weights and he comes back off a two month break racing for a $10K tag and with Carmouche aboard. Win candidate.
4th pick: #8 (Sons of Missouri) (7-2) - Very lightly raced 5-year-old finished second here at this tag 10 days ago in his first since March 14th and first for trainer Randy Allen. Home-bred has early speed and should be involved from start-to-finish.
