It was his second back from a three month layoff and his barn brings him back quickly, drops him down a bit, and shortens him up a 1/16th. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #10 (Dark Moon) (5-2) - Dangerous shipper comes from Laurel where he raced evenly in a turf sprint facing better April 30. He was bumped at the break and lost all position at that point. Gelding by 'Malibu Moon' drops to a new low and moves from grass to dirt. A very strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Congrats to Avie) (10-1) - Longshot returns from a two-month break. He's raced evenly his entire career facing a bit better and may rally for a share at a big price.
4th pick: #9 (Superside) (7-2) - He has early speed, but has tired badly in his last pair, both here at this level. May last for a minor award, but at this point he would need a career best to win this.
