Top pick: #8 (GRAN NEGRO) (3-1) - He finished an even third here going 7 furlongs racing for a $15K tag on April 21st in what was his first off a claim by Mark Zulueta claim. Positive effort and he drops him back down to the purchase price and stretches him back out in distance. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Gottcha My Dear) (2-1) - Lightly-raced gelding ships up from Tampa Bay Downs where he set a pressured pace and tired to finish third facing similar on April 7th. It was his best to date, and his early speed must be respected.
