Top pick: #7 (PETER'S LEGEND) (3-1) - Gelding has finished second in three straight, the latest a neck loss here at this tag going a mile on Jan. 27. Speed/stalker will be cutting back in distance and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #4 (Speight Me) (6-1) - He chased and held gamely to finish third at this tag on Jan. 28 in his first back off a six week freshening. Barn brings him back quickly for this and he's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Palmetto Jim) (5-2) - The probable favorite, "Jim" has the best "figures" and has faced tougher. However, he hasn't run since March 18th of 2012 and only has two published drills showing for his return. Win candidate, but at a short price.
4th pick: #9 (Undiscovered) (20-1) - He's only raced once and tired badly after racing close up. Claimed that day by Cindy Reese for $10K she brings him back almost six weeks later at the purchase price and with blinkers on.
