In his follow up race Nov 22 he was out-finished by a length while six lengths clear of a next out winner. Stalker holds a tactical edge and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Noreen) (3-1) - He's one of two entered by trainer Patty Farro and the pair race uncoupled. Gelding finished second when debuting in a dirt sprint at Gulfstream Park May 4 of 2014. His next nine starts have been on the grass. Drops slightly, goes turf to dirt, and he has sharp early speed.
3rd pick: #1 (Snake Plisskin) (15-1) - Long shot ships back from Laurel where he tallied to finish fifth of 11, beaten just under two lengths going seven furlongs Nov 26. He has the rail and most all of his best races have been here 8-1-3-1.
4th pick: #4 (Clowney) (20-1) - The second of the Farro pair, he was very wide before tiring Nov 9, then acted up prior to a troubled trip in his latest. He has races this past summer at Monmouth that put him in this at a huge price if repeatable.
