Top pick: #6 (BAMBONEO) (3-1) - The probable favorite, he rallied to finish second of 10, beaten 1 1/2 lengths when debuting here at this tag and trip on March 12th. Claimed that day by Lupe Preciado he's given him six weeks of freshening and brings him back at the purchse price. New barn wins at a 30% rate fresh off the claim and 3-year-old meets a weak field.
2nd pick: #11 (Favourite Chanel) (4-1) - The main danger, he was 7 1/2 back of "Bamboneo" on March 12th, and he raced very wide that day from a tough outside post. Last out he had some serious traffic issues on the turn and is a win candidate this afternoon.
3rd pick: #9 (Ron the Lawyer) (8-1) - "Bit" player, he tends to race evenly and may round out the bottom of the tri and/or super with his normal effort.
4th pick: #7 (Spell It Out) (10-1) - He hasn't shown much in his three starts, but caught a sloppy track last out and has shown some early speed in his previous start. In a winning barn (Bob Reid Jr.) and gelding may grab a share at a big price.
