Top pick: #6 (HARBOR KID) (4-1) - There's a nice group assembled for this $75K sprint atakes as the eight runners have 50 wins and $2.2M in combined earnings. This grey gelding is another in a long line of fine sprinters that trainer Scott Lake has developed over the years. Local record stands at (13-5-4-2) and he's finished second in two straight sprint stakes. A big half-mile work on Feb. 22 suggests he's doing well.

2nd pick: #5 (Candyman E) (5-2) - Gulfstream shipper just missed there facing weaker in his first race in a year. One-run type has worked well since and believe this stakes was there intended target right along as jockey Joe Bravo flies in from Florida for the mount.

3rd pick: #2 (Rod's Five Star) (9-2) - "Rod" loves this surface (12-7-2-2) and when last in action here on Dec. 18 he won the $75K "Valley Forge" and defeated "Kid" by 1 1/2 lengths that afternoon. Working fast and is in the win mix.

4th pick: #1 (Calvados) (15-1) - Longshot hasn't raced since Jan. 8, but trainer Ed Coletti Jr. has him working like "Seattle Slew" for his return to action. Strong finisher likes it here (11-5-3-0) and should get a fast pace to rally into.
