Top pick: #7 (PIQUANT) (3-1) - He enters in career best shape, and has been beaten a "neck" in his last pair racing here at this level. Stalker draws a nice outside post at this 6.5-furlong trip, and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Major Highway) (7-2) - Grey gelding has a great year going 8-3-4-1, and all of his starts have been local. Speedy sort moves up a bit in class, but should be involved every step despite facing tougher.
3rd pick: #1 (Adirondack King) (5-2) - Stakes placed several times. He rallied to finish just under a length back of "Piquant" last out in his first race in five months. He's worked fast since, and would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #5 (Two T's At Two B) (8-1) - Lightly raced 3yo raced evenly here in the same last race as both "Piquant" & "King," and was only beaten four lengths. Fits with his best, and in 2012 he won a pair of stakes at Calder.
