Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (CHIEF LION) (3-1) - He's one of two entered by trainer Dave Jacobson and the pair race uncoupled. Speed/stalker won his local debut Oct. 8 racing at this level and distance. Consistent veteran gets a slight edge in today's feature race.
2nd pick: #6 (Great Stuff) (8-5) - The second from trainer Jacobson, he's the morning line and probable favorite. Belmont shipper has won two in a row on the NYRA circuit and is in career best form for his local debut. An obvious win candidate
3rd pick: #4 (Pomeroy's Package) (7-2) - Gelding has gone 3-1-1-1 since being claimed by Mario Serey Jr, for $20,000 July 31 at Monmouth Park. Speed/stalker was only a 'neck' in back of 'Chief Lion' here Oct. 8 and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #1 (Trouble Kid) (8-1) - Very fast from the gate, he raced poorly while not having the best of trips here in a $100K sprint stakes Sept. 17. Working fast, he has the rail, and is from the barn of leading trainer Ramon Preciado. Four-year-old is five-for-eight at Philly park and can't be eliminated.
