2nd pick: #2 (Major Marvel) (5-2) - Old-timer is nearing the $500K mark in earnings, and $350K of that has come on the turf. The main speed, he has the rail and held to defeat "Hobo" by a nose here on May 27. In shape, from a great barn (Mike Maker), and an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Back Away) (3-1) - The fields strongest finisher, was a winner here at this level last out, but received a very fast pace to close into. That said. he's eight for 17 on the turf, is in career best form, and will be finishing fast.
4th pick: #9 (Polka at Night) (8-1) - Not as accomplished as the top three selections, he tries hard every time and is racing second off an eight month layoff. May grab a small slice if one of the top trio is sub-par.
