Top pick: #5 (SHE BE BUNNY) (3-1) - She's in career best form at present and has gone 4-3-1-0 following a Scott Lake claim and a subsequent 70 day freshening. All of those recent races are local and speed/stalker can take this with her best.
2nd pick: #1 (Famous Rose) (8-5) - The probable heavy favorite, she ships down from Belmont where she's training nicely for her first start since going wire-to-wire at Aqu. on April 10th. Mare comes with her best each time out and it's of note that jockey Juan Ortiz comes from New York for the ride.
3rd pick: #6 (Alexandra's Grace) (4-1) - Lightly-raced and well-bred, daughter of "Hard Spun" tries winners for the first time and does so off of an eight month layoff. Training fast locally and this $200K yearling may have a bright future.
4th pick: #4 (Princess Kate) (8-1) - She was an easy winner when facing much weaker on June 1st, and was claimed that day by Mike Pino for $10K. New barn is deadly off the claim (31%), but this filly is in a tough spot today and would really need to step it up considerably.
