3rd pick: #2 (Sheikinator) (3-1) - Churchill invader is racing first off a Keith Lebarron claim. Colt is well bred and has had success going longer facing tougher. He's never sprinted in 16-starts so son of 'Curlin' will be racing far back in the early stages. Fits on figures, but will need a very fast pace to help his style out.
4th pick: #4 (Cherokee Pass) (5-1) - Speedy sort enters with three wins in his last five starts. Well bred 5-year-old was an easy gate-to-wire winner here for a $15K tag June 15 and a repeat of that career best effort makes him a serious threat.
