2nd pick: #5 (High I Q Pete) (3-1) - The main speed he's moving way up in class while trying to win for the fourth time in his last five starts. In career best form, he's four of eight locally and is winless in five starts away from Philadelphia Park. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Johnny U ) (9-2) - Freshened up since Nov. 5, he finished a pace-chasing second here that day going six furlongs. Five-year-old draws a fine outside post at this 6.5 furlong trip and he's won two of three previous starts on 'off' tracks.
4th pick: #8 (Whiskey Tree) (5-1) - Stalker has races in his past that fit if repeatable. However, he raced evenly Nov. 18 at Charles Town facing tougher in his first since July 4. In a high-percentage barn (Reid Nagle), Four-year-old is well spotted and is a threat with his best.
